Friend can't join our game

Currently in a MP game with 3 other friends. Another friend is trying to join but the server doesn't load up for him. Just puts him at the main menu but without any text. The server is set to 8 players, we are all on PC through steam and he can join other random lobbies just fine. Anyone know the issue? I also made a different game and he has the same problem. Seems like he can join everyone but friends.

Well, the "obvious" next thing to test would be:
* Have him un-Friend you (drama free, or not, your choice) and Try Again?

It'd be an Interesting Test, and you can always re-Friend (after the drama forgiveness)...

Try resetting your router and then forward these ports to private;

TCP ports: 8080-8081 (usually blocked in the US), 26900
UDP ports: 26900-26902

he got it fixed. he had to set his date and time on his pc to auto..... yes, that was the problem somehow lol

Had the same problem... I had to fix my clock lol why is this a thing?

lol everyone was pissed and relieved at the same time. So stupid. We played for like 2 weeks and then my friends got bored and abandoned the server.
