title screen wont load

Currently I'm stuck on the title screen of 7 days to die. I've tired deleting everything and fresh installing it. No options come up, there's no menu, just the console. I have a mod that came with the install "0_TFP_Harmony" but I don't know if that's related since it was aprt of the fresh installation. Currently my platform.cfg looks like this:
platform=Steam
crossplatform=
serverplatforms=Steam
because if I boot it up any other way I'm stuck before the title screen even loads being told it can't connect to Epic Online Services.
I'm using:
AMD Ryzen 7 2700X Eight-Core Processor 4.00 GHz
32GB of RAM
NVIDIA GForce RTX 2080
I have tried scouring old forums but those solutions don't seem to be helping
Any advice would be appreciated

faulty eos install perhaps?
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\EasyAntiCheat\uninstall_eac.bat
after that the install.bat

I have the same problem and don't know what to do. No mods are installed. I tried deleting and reloading the game - it doesn't help.

Have you tried starting the game without EAC? Either do it through the 7DTD launcher or via the 7DTD game properties through Steam.
