i have put literally every folder and file in its exclusions yet every time i fire it up i have to turn off malwarebytes cause it detects the games exe as an outbound website thats compromised.

Anyone have an idea that might fix it?

Don't you have a option to whitelist the detected "malware" (instead of blocking it)?

Honestly, that's the first I've heard of this and Lots of people use that AV app. So, I'd be more inclined to believe there maybe some deeper problem with the OP's PC... a deep embedded rootkit possibly. I'd be doing extensive deep scans on that PC if it were me... and with something besides Malwarebytes--which is questionable in the first place in some version in their past with their business practices. But, yeah... you're 'supposed' to be able to white list anything in any AV app cuz the developers know their apps maybe detects things with false positives.

The reason for some stuff popping up as compromised is because two of steams IP are currently being attacked. It’s a steam issue , not a user issue . There’s a good bit of other threads going on atm discussing this

great just great....
xDDD... When you play a (legit) game, it's useless to let turn ON any anti-virus/malware in back... If not, since I play a10, never got a single virus/malware with 7DTD...
