Invite Friends Greyed Out

I host a private game for me and a couple friends. On the 15th we played together just fine with no issues at all. However, there was a game patch it seems on the 16th and now I cannot invite my friends to join me anymore. Is there any help or solution for this?

Not a game issue....it's a steam issue.

It is definetly a game issue. We had no problems, and after the last update we have struggled joining the game. At one point the game enabled the invite button and one friend could join, but the other got "Connection timed out". Tried then to restart the server, change mode to public with password and the same issue happend with the other friend.

That patch on the 16th was a steam client patch for the game.....not a patch by the Devs for the game itself. It was on steam's end. And, yeah it broke MP for a lot of people. Since then, steam did another patch which should've fixed things but, not sure.... Be sure the 7d2d server steam tool is updated....and, the client ends also.

Usually a workaround has been for each person to select their friends from the friends list and opt to 'join game' when that friend is in the server. Also, people having this issue were simply retrying to connect and it might take a few tries to succeed. Not sure how steam borked this up.
