Report a translation problem
The problem with the issue is it can happen on day 1 or day 100. I have also noticed it happens when I *return* to my base after being further afield (like you do with an 'opening trade routes' quest.)
Is the chunk of your base that disappears always the section that contains your forges and workstations?
It's like the game freaks out when recalling what is going on inside forges and workstations, and it breaks so hard the game just straight up resets the chunk they're in.
EDIT: do you get any error messages in the log when your base disappears?
There's no workstations in the part of the base that disappears, and I haven't noticed any specific error messages but it's hard to know the exact moment that the chunk resets so I can't really tell
