multiplayer issue

ever since today i have been having problems with join and my friends joining me. is anyone else having this issue. yesterday it worked perfectly fine now i cant play with my friends. online is enabled i put it on friends only and public. put it on the closest server to me. I also checked my firewall and that looks good too. if anyone has a fix please let me know.

(start with connecting to your friend press f1 to see console, same with your friend connecting to you press f1 to see console it tells you whats going on sometimes)

-VPN sometimes cause problem try turning them off
-Corrupted game file sometimes cause problem try verifying game files, if that didn't work
try a fresh install
-Drivers update not compatible to the game, rollback the driver
-Corrupted character profile is a pain (since i don't know how to fix that)
- Ransomware protection of window security can cause problem since it sometimes block update to files. try turning it off but its up to you . Make sure its a secured connection and you trust the people your playing with.

If it all fails go to the bug and support discussion they have more solution maybe 1 of those work on you.

If the multiplayer server you are trying to join had Creative Mode on some dude probably destroyed that world spinning around with a superdigger at bedrock level so the whole world collapsed. Don't use creative mode. That world is dead and no computer can calculate its blocks collapsing.

Also having issues, but only today. My Internet is fine and my own personal games are fine, but when I try to join my friend's server, keep having connection/ping issues. Today is the only time we have ever had this issue.

My brother and I started have this problem yesterday. Has been working perfectly but yesterday we tried to play together and kept getting "cannot connect" error.

HI all! I'm posting our fix, since this seems to be a bug with the most recent hotfix. Spread the word!

It seems to be a combination of things. Primarily these steps seem to work:

- Don't use "censorable" language in your world or password. We had used the word for men's genetalia as our password, and changed it to something normal.
- Change your server password.
- If you don't have a password, set one.
- If your server is private, make it public.
- If you're running EAC, disable it.
- Verify all your game files. If it has one failure, keep running verification until it comes back clear.
- If it won't verify all the files, clear your steam downloads cache.

We did all these things in order of bottom up, the last one causing total fix. So idk which one or which combo it is, but these things worked for us.

Let me know if you try these things and you still can't get it!
