Broken Arms and Legs instantly heal - without even using any Item

So currently I am trying to get my arm broken 9 more times - I have not invested in Healing Factor on purpose until I get these "challenges" done.

So I let those zombies punch me - it takes some time to get my arm sprained. We're halfway there. After a few more taken beatings, I can see the red icon for the broken arm, and I can see "59min" for a glimpse there... but then it instantly vanishes, character screen also does not say anything about a broken arm. Challenge counter also did not raise to 2 broken arms. Arm is not even sprained anymore. What is this?

My leg also behaves the same way in these battles. Sprained leg turns into broken leg for like 1 sec but it magically cures itself as well.

For broken legs, I've "discovered" a totally "GENIUS" move...

During my first attempt flying the Gyrocopter, accidentally pressed "E" at altitude.
Panicked re-pressing "E" allowed me to re-board twice - I should have stopped then...

Discovered a whole new meaning for "Big Ouch".

BTW: The "E" key is now remapped to another keyboard that I keep in the closet.
