I lost my saved game
I did what you have put in the news and it was of no use to me and I lost my game after many hours of playing, if they continue like this I don't plan to play it anymore because it doesn't seem normal to me that this happens, in fact it's time for it to happen. Update and put the game in the cloud and don't waste our time. I'm very angry because now I have to play a new game and if every time you update you do this, it's impossible to play.

Welcome to the risk that comes with playing an Experimental. Wait for it to go stable if you don't like the notion of having to restart multiple times.

Well, that's what I'm going to do, not play it until everything works well, the solutions they give are useless, they waste our time, so I'm going to go to another game.

We lost our game too. I couldnt get to the game without updating the game which already broke the save file. I didnt remember which pregen world we used and only way to find that out was to launch the game and look but that forced the update leaving the world save ruined. Good job by the devs once more :D

Personally had no idea this would happen in experimental, ive played plenty of games in experimental mode and never have lost my saves like this.
We spent so many days and hours into the play and boom, it was gone because of one patch...

yeah but making people restart and loose everything by changing a letter to a number on map name is something they could have done differently, it sucks

It turns out it just doesn't make sense to play Experimental. I've had to start again several times now, and I don't want to have to do it a few more times.

I haven't lost a save, or needed to restart a save since experimental release. Not to say that it isn't an issue, but, yeah, something isn't right if that's happening.

People who complain about having to restart an unstable version are the most ignorant people. Experimental does not mean stable version and as a result, no matter which way you go, the save will be destroyed at some point or many points. Quit complaining about it and go back to a stable version.

That's more effort. It's easier to just ♥♥♥♥♥ about it.

It says "UNSTABLE" on the version label where you opt in. Honestly I think people should have to read some sort of explanation of what unstable means, and e-sign that they understand the word before they choose to opt into this.

Nothing is ignorant if the game does not guarantee anything that can be played without losing the games, they close it until it is playable because what is not normal is that you play for many hours so that the gentlemen, for changing a number, update and load the saved games , they give an explanation in the patch notes that are useless so we are within our rights to complain to anyone who doesn't like it and doesn't read it.

They literally made a post about it a week in advance so people could adequately prepare. Server I'm on has no issues. Singleplayer game I ported the map for has no issues.
