If your harddrive has fewer than 15-25gb of space left, you should try to clear some space on it so it isn't super full.
If your computer's PageFile is disabled or limited you should change it back to normal/default.
Those things are pretty quick to get right and they're things you should do either way to make sure everything runs decently.
IF you still have crashing even after all three of those are taken care of, you should really share your computer's specs when asking for help...otherwise we don't even know if you're on Linux or MacOS or Windows8.1 or using a computer with 4gb RAM and an HD4650, etc.
You should also look in the game's folder and copy/paste the latest crash report into the free PasteBin website then copy/paste the link from there into your post here.
This stuff is all in the "how to report issues/problems" thread that I'm guessing you didn't look at....since you posted a crash complaint in the GeneralDiscussion section for some reason.
EDIT: and check your OS application logs, maybe there is a hint why game closed
Verify game files.
Remove all mods and delete the mod folder.
Some of the moderators here are pretty good at spotting problems in the game logs. See how to report an issue in the support forum for help on how to find and post your game logs.
I do not have a crash report folder for some reason, I've looked everywhere in the local files and there is nothing related to crashing. Once again, it did not give me an error/crash message, it just quit.
my specs are:
AMD FX-7500 Radeon R7, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G 2.10 GHz
6.00 GB (4.97 GB usable)
64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
I do have a lot of storage taken up so I will start getting rid of a lot of ♥♥♥♥ but for me it takes a bit. I really need to get a new PC but sadly I cannot afford it, and neither can I afford to make my own (which many have so "kindly" told me to do and called me a dumbass for saying I can't afford a new PC and that I should SPEND 500 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DOLLARS to make my own, which again, I cannot afford either.)
I have no mods, I don't plan on to have any either.
I will check for the latest graphics driver after I free up more storage.
Is this system memory? because that's below minimum requirement for the game.
it obviously doesnt work fine. but ok...
when was the last time you put cooling gel on your grafic card??
Clearing some Harddrive space (and making sure the PageFile isn't disabled or limited) should help avoid crashes by throwing unused stuff into the harddrive's-PageFile instead of letting it use up all the RAM when the game needs it.
You can also adjust a few of the game's graphic/video options if you haven't already:
TextureQuality HALF
UMAtextureQuality LOWEST
ViewDistance NEAR
This will help the game use less VRAM and less RAM...which might help.
You can also lower how much VRAM the game uses a little by lowering the in-game resolution instead of the Manual ResolutionScaling option. The Manual RES-scaling can be convenient, but it usually uses a little more VRAM and a tiny bit extra CPU+GPU.
IF you happen to run anything else in the background while playing that you could otherwise live without (like playing music or having a browser window open or something) closing that extra stuff should help use a little less RAM too.
I looked in Windows Event viewer and hoped to find something to get me looking the right way but the only thing there was 7dtd.exe (version) stopped interacting with Windows.
Anyway, a long story short... I rolled back no one but, I think it was 2 versions of Nvidia driver to 511.23 and my problem was solved.
It may or may not help everybody but I hope it helps some of you.

I don't know where you got the information of only having 6GB of system RAM (maybe a typo?), cause you got misinformed.
Mobo: Asus Maximus hero VIII (not the latest version)
CPU: I5 6600K
RAM: HyperX 16GB 2100MHz
GPU: Asus Strix 980Ti
Samsung EVO 850 (OS)
Samsung 970 Pro 2 TB (Games)
Western Digital 1TB (Data nd Stuffs)
It's an 'older' PC for gaming standards but it still rocks!

Lol....think I was reading through so much from beginning to end and confused system specs between multiple responders. Yeah, that's actually a pretty beefy game rig. It's the other poster (OP--Saint Conrad) that I was crossing specs with. This is what happens when I get in here into the wee hours of the morning.....need sleep, lol.
Yeah the 6gb spec came from OP, in this post. (OP has since changed his username)
It wasn't clear if that was system memory or video memory. But video memory isn't normally quoted as being "X useable". it's always all useable. So it sounded like system memory.
