EAC Performance Degradation
I made a post a few days ago about being stuck at a max of 98 fps after playing with 120 fps for about a week and having tried lots of ways to fix it unsuccessfully. However today I finally found the problem.

When I run 7DTD through steam the normal way my performance is an absolute maximum of 98 fps with drops to low 60's and even lower with multiple zombies. However when I run the game without EAC enabled I get a smooth, solid 120 fps. I don't know why this happened but on the 8th of February EAC started to limit and reduce my performance (I don't know if EAC got updated that day).

I know this isn't a very useful solution if I was trying to play multiplayer however but maybe you already know why this happens.

My specs;
- RTX 3070
- AMD Ryzen 5 5600x
- 16GB DDR4 RAM

Just as an experiment, try re-enabling EAC but, go into steam library, select game, click 'manage' icon and 'properties.' In there, disable the Steam Overlay and steam controller input if you use K/M to play. Also, in Steam settings, disable any / all broadcast & shadowplay options. Should also disable anything like that in your gpu control panel if it has them. Double check your windows power profile in advanced settings and be sure 'Min. CPU state' is set to 100%

If those things don't help; another thing to try is download the latest EAC from the web and install it. Maybe a fresh installation of it would resolve the fps hit.

I had already tried these things, with the exception I did not try disabling the steam overlay and shadowplay at the same time. I used the EAC setup.exe in the game files to reinstall EAC too. They didn't have an affect.
