Grover HS - Am I missing a trigger?
Grover High School (T5) Fetch/Clear bugged out on me. I cannot complete the clear portion. Anyone else having a problem, or have an idea what trigger I am missing?

Here is what I did:

I cleared every zombie I could find, flipped both switches, and got the White River supplies. There were no red dots,or yellow dots even after going through the path twice. I then exited the game and restarted to reset the quest and ran through the POI a second time, and still couldn't get it to clear. Very frustrating.

I was getting this issue randomly with certain Tier 5 PoIs last Alpha, so I believe you when you say it's happening to you. But the one time I did a quest at Grover High (can't remember if it was just clear or fetch as well), I had no issues. In fact, pretty much every zombie spawned at once as soon as I stepped foot on the roof and had to fight them in the parking lot. I didn't go through the PoI the intended way either, rather skipping the entire thing by walking through a door the zombies broke through and heading straight for the main loot. The only group that didn't spawn immediately was the one guarding the main loot.

Happened with Minotaur Theater as well.

Although, I will add that I did a test run of the place before I activated the quest to see how the PoI was layed out. That first run, I did it stealthily with full Tier 6 Rogue Armor. It was much more manageable and I was able to go through the proper way. But I did notice when I was on the roof, there was a group of zombies that materialized in front of me as I approached the doorway leading into the building. Didn't see this happen the second time as maybe they just spawned in when I was unaware during the chaos. But maybe there was a trigger somewhere like this that wasn't working for you.

It's a bit daunting your first time. The roof is a nest of nasties of all types. On Infected clear it was a pain for sure. After the roof, depending on what happens there, you may or may not have many open access points into the rest, which can cause you to skip past trigger points. I honestly cannot tell you the exact path, as every time I've done it, zombies opened stairs and made a mess getting to me cause I'd either retreat or they'd just decide to go ham on a wall after I escaped to higher elevation to heal cause I messed up.

If isn't triggering for you, Id mostly ask if its base game or any mods. I have some mods installed, nothing to much really. I was also on a RWG 8k map. The mods I have installed are just quality of life ones I prefer. Extra land claims, small stack size adjustment mod, and 60 slot backpack. Also use GNS beautiful bases mod for just aesthetics of fleshing out a base with my wife on our games.

I can also say, diff armor sets or setups will really change how you can play. started out using mix of armor I chose for their buffs. Now been running assassin set as I'd already spec'd into AGI heavier and it is almost to easy. Sneak from that set is WAY OP. Honestly it needs toning down lol. It also trivializes the trigger/ambush points. As you can just step around a corner and then go into sneak and nearly instantly stop them from chasing you. This is harder with feral sense on, but still works as it really breaks their AI bad.
It is 100% bugged, I done it multiple times, bugged every time apart from once, I also went everywhere, there are too many zombies, when you jump on the roof about 60+ spawn, you run around and they are everywhere, I think sometimes some despawn and dont spawn back.

There are also old bugged poi's like the oddiggy building, or whatever that is called, that is just broken.

In general I think they did a amazing job with the newly added high tier PoIs. Because it adds so much to the base (end)game having a wider number of PoIs and the quality/layout feels great. However I do believe there are several issues with the newly added tier 5/6 PoIs, especially Minotaur and Grover seem a little less polished.

Besides having increased massively in difficulty compared to their tier 5 counterparts, there seem to be problems with triggering way to large groups of zombies at once and zombies loading in just before you approach. Even with maxed out stealth these issue of triggering multiple groups all at once exist (although only sometimes). Maybe they were a bit rushed about completing these 2 PoIs.

I just got a similar issue in Grover High (T6) when the last spawn was indicated by a yellow dot.
I could however not get it to spawn or find it. It was one of the drop down zombies above the gym and the ceiling was broken at that location. Went godmode and killall to no effect. So there can definitely be an issue with spawns.
(Edit: But I also completed it fully before in T5 so it is possible)

I made the quest a few days ago without any interrupt or bug.
I recommend to do any quest in the let's say proposed way. There is always a way trough any poi where do you don't need to break trough anything, no doors, no walls, nothing.
As soon as you need to break anything except the storage boxes at the end you could miss something. If you destroy something important like a hatch or gate you should actually trigger with a button you could even break the poi.
Groov High starts at the Roof and you go downstairs.

I think, either some zombies are despawning (actual bug, so have to wait for devs), or there is a trigger point I am somehow missing despite following the path.

Side Note: There is a lower level POI that has a group of zombies that don't appear in the final room unless you drop down from the roof to a specific location that caused me some grief a few years ago, hence my wondering if it is just a trigger point I am missing.

Yeah, like I said, maybe it could be those zombies on the roof that materialized in front of my just before the door? I was in stealth and wrapped around the perimeter, around the HVAC units or whatever they are in the back side before heading towards the door into the building. A few zombies appeared in front of me and more broke through the door.

That's really the only thing I can think of.

Alright, looks like T6 quests in Grover High are just broken. All zombies killed, quest still incomplete. I'm familiar now with where they "should" be spawning and no spot was missing.
Grover High mission is broken. I've walked all over the poi on a clear infested mission. Hit the two triggers to open doors. There are no more zombies. I've gone all through the 2 floors and roof, banging on things with my axe . . . no zombies. Broken mission.
