My Backpack is Disappearing after death

My backpack is disappearing after I die and let the game on "resurrect on my bad" screen and return after some hours. My backpack is not on the ground anymore, the light blue mark on the map does not exist anymore and I left everything I had equipped and it-s for the second time. If I die and return to the game fast it will be there, but after I do not return fast and leave on that screen and go to to another thing after I return it does not exist anymore. Please Fix it because I'm losing everything and I'm not playing the latest difficulty of this game.

Nothing to fix. The backpack will despawn after a period of time by design (last I recall it was 20 minutes) If you are dying, and letting your backpack sit, thinking it's going to be safe while you leave the game running for hours (even on the respawn screen) that is unfortunately and entirely on you. The respawn selection screen is not a pause button and the game is still running behind the scenes.

Just change your settings!

I got same bug few aplhas ago... sometime backpack dropping under textures xD

Hmmm.... The game pauses when you press ESC because the time do not pass and the zombies do not move so how do you think its not a Pause button ? I'm playing on personal server with me only on game. Maybe it won't pause on a public server or a server with more than one player, but i'm alone on mine.

I want everything to drop, but Want to be able to go get my stuff after its on pause for how long hours I need. If the game is paused it should be unpaused for it to go missing after 20 minutes
