Some challanges are not counting

Anyone else having problems with some of the challenges not counting? Like the honey collecting, poly scrap, pipes, etc.

Some of the challenges are pretty specific regarding what tool you must be using (eg, a stone axe, not a fireaxe) and from what resource object you are collecting (eg, blue water barrels or other specific, not any ol plastic), from. Maybe that is a part of it?

Some of the challenge descriptions aren't accurate or don't mention I think (altho today's patch may have fixed that), but most do.

According to the patch notes, the recent update should have loosened what tool you need equipped and added more sources for the challenges. Anyone want to confirm if this is true or not?

Harvested a stack of pipes with a Steel Pickaxe. Still no progress. Seems things haven't changed much.

Also some challenges do not give you the xp reward when you claim them. There were at least 2 of the kill zombie ones that are supposed to give 10k xp and I recieved zero xp.

Yep in a server with a buddy and like all my gathering challenges aren’t working except a few

The stacks of pipes don't work, but if you get them from toilets and sinks, it works on b313

From the challanges menu:

"Using a wrench or other salvage tool, they can be harvested from plumbing fixtures such as Toilets and Sinks, appliances like Stoves and Refigerators, as well as Bed Frames, Cars and more."

Strange that the stacks of pipes isn't on the list, they do seam the obvious choice.

so I actually just finished these yesterday. i figured out that if you just track the quest itself, it'll show you what to salvage and it'll count towards it.
