Report a translation problem
By which I mean, Say the base damage of the tool is 30. When you add a weapon mod to a tool it adds 10% damage on top of it's effect in most cases; So with 4 mods, that'd be 30+40% =42 damage. Plus if you have, for example, the Rock Buster mod, that's a further 25% damage to Stone specifically, 42+25%=52.5, Plus your levels in Miner 69er increasing block damage by as much as 150% at level 5, 52.5x150%= 131.25
If the Glove is multiplying off the base damage only and not interacting with any of the others, then 50% would add 15(30+50%), 131.25+15= 146.25
If the glove is multiplying off the base damage+mod damage, then you'd get 52.5+50%= 78.75, an increase of 26.25.. 131.25+26.25 = 157.5
In short, what I'm saying is, It likely is calculated another way from what you seem to be expecting. You're expecting a 50% increase to your Total damage which gets comparing against the damage you do when you swing; but it's more likely to be a multiplier somewhere in the math process leading up to that final damage calculation, and so it's not a multiplier multiplying other multipliers.
I'm just trying to figure out how it works because as of now if my total bonus, when i hit an ore what my tools the result, is about 15% for a level 6.
the purpose of the lower level would mean that in the end those lower level give about
LVL1 1.5%
LVL2 3.0%
LVL3 4.5%
LVL4 6.0%
LVL5 7.5%
And then level 6 is doubled for a total of overall 15% damage.
i'm not sure anyone would wear anything under lvl6 and even level 6 that wont spare you a hit in most case, have no goal.
