yes it is, actually after a couple more tries and waiting longer I ended up having a warning telling me that EAC can't connect to EOS and I had a box with 3 options. First "retry", second "play offline" that was grayed and unclickable and third "quit game".
I made a test. Removed the specific line in the HOST file that point at api.epicgames.dev (so litteraly giving Epic Games an open door to get datas) and I got connected and reached 7 days to Die menu in a matter of seconds.
So right now, to play a game I bought years ago, I am forced to have let a company I don't want to hear about have an access inside my computer. And that's not what I paid for when I bought 7 days to die.
That's why I consider that the devs of 7 days to die should provide a way to play the game without the need to be connected at EOS at all for the EAC, or consider a change in their Anti-Cheat software.
