Potentially relevant information.
New character, latest_experimental build, Multiplayer game, 5 people, im not the host, only person with this issue.
Hopefully can find an issue, will let people know if i can figure out a workaround.
Did you turn off the mods you've installed for the older version of the game?
did both of those steps and it works in a new singeplayer game, however joining the multiplayer server the issue persists. unfortunately, out of ideas will pop a bug report into the official forum.
Appreciate the ideas though.
Server is running in Docker on Debian. My linux client doesn't have the problem, but my friend's Windows client does.
It looks like somehow the correct files or function couldn't be loaded, but I haven't seen the logs yet.
@Metic
did you submit a ticket yet?
at the server/host: there's a Players folder in the Save folder in it are EOS_XZY folders and corresponding files. Rename them from the specific non working profile to *.old or just delete them. Those files contain the EOS/Steam-ID specific save data for the server. How those got corrupted idk. Could be a bloated client (lots of old data) or connecting to the server at the wrong time (before it fully started/initialized).
Path and renamed and new files:
