Poor performance in high tier POI's
Ive been playing co-op as a host and performance was oke-ish up untill we got to tier 5 quests with 10+ story buildings where it averages at around 30ish fps.

I got the game capped at 100fps which it has no problems with outside high tier area's. Changing the graphical settings from highest to lowest got me a whopping 7 extra fps in these areas.

Is the game lagging simply because of the AI zombies? Max zombies i see is 20ish on screen at a time but i can't believe these (incredibly dumb and unpolished ) AI's really hog it down that much.

The person i'm playing with has a 3 gen old pc and gets around the same fps in these area's, while i have a decent build.

Is there some setting im unaware of that has a huge impact?

Thx in advance.

I heard that turning off reflections is very good in these kind of situations. That's because tall buidlings have a huge amount of windows that need to process reflections.
So i turned off reflections and particles and lowered the mesh settings to low medium-ish. Even lowered some graphical settings like textures and shadows ( even though the game runs exactly the same on max or low )

Now horde nights are 'fine' with 60-90-fps due to turning off particles, but big tier 6 quest POI's are still 30-60 fps. I just cant believe this is 'as good as it gets'.

Try disabling Dynamic Mesh under Video Settings in the last tab. That might not solve the issue, but may help increase overall performance.
I did, i wrote it in my first sentence:) Doesn't do jack sh*t in the cities just makes things spawn 3m in front of me.

Same issue here , it run really well everywhere UNTIL you get in a T5 POI and zombies start spawning outside... Then more and more zombies pile outside the POI (it's even worst in desert/wasteland and doubly so if you are in a city) then ♥♥♥♥'S starting to lag like all heck because every currently active zombies all around the building need to path toward's you and said pathing eat a lot of memory
