VERY SLOW LOADING TIME?

Assuming you mean when generating a new world, it used to take longer than that. I get a cup of coffee or do something that doesnt take too long when generating a new world.

If youre talking about loading a save, yeah, thats too long.

I personally dont think waiting 5 to 10 min is beyond reasonable to wait to create a completely new custom world.

There is something you can edit in the xml file to make it no longer than 2min even on low end PCs. maybe someone here remembers what it was. My friends that rent servers have very fast loading times on their server, even for the first time loading in.

But you are right, some games are just not made efficiently for this, for who knows why. Rust is very very bad about it.

Yes, I am talking about loading or joining the saves of my friends. But it is fixed now, I just need to lower the mesh count and lower the game graphics with windowed mode.

The first minutes of the game is fine, no slow loading issues. But when we progressed longer in our map, I stopped playing because I'm just taking a break or snack. And when I joined again, the game really loads slower. 5 or maybe 6 mins to be precised.
