Problems with electric fence
I was putting electrified fences on my base (it has a square shape). but I can't finish connecting 4 electric fences. the fence connected to the generator only lets me connect it to one more, so there is always one unprotected side of my base. I wanted to know if it is a bug or a game mechanic.

It's a mechanic, you can't connect them in closed loops. You need to build a separate fence to close the open side or use 5th post and place the 1st and last posts so that the wires cross each other making it a complete circle.

Thank you very much, I thought something had connected wrong. The worst thing is that when I had to fight against a horde, most of the zombies came right from the side that I wasn't close to.
By the way, one more question. One of the fences stopped working on one side, but the post is still intact. It has a use limit and I have to craft another one? or does it recover on its own?

Fence posts wear in use and eventually stop working but you can fix them, you need some electrical parts and forged iron for that. People often design their bases so that they can reach the posts and fix them during horde nights.
