bike disappearance

im playing in the recent alpha 21.1 and i logged out of my world while standing next to my bicycle, and when i logged on next my bike disappeared. i dont know how to get it back i tried restarting and everything.

If you are in single player, I would just use creative mode to get a new one. It wasn't your fault.

do you still see it in your compass or map?
if not, just do what the guy above mentioned.
also, sometimes they respawn back, and doubly so for some reason.

I had my motor cycle disappear on me after a crash. I just walked back to the last place I set it down and found it sitting there waiting for me.

I had a bike disappear. It was some sort of glitch where if you are sitting on the bike when you exit the game it disappears.

So now I got to walk home which was also the direction I was facing when I exited the game.

After walking about 500m - 1km, the bike showed up on the top locator thingy. It was at the bottom of a lake. Somehow on exit, the bike had teleported there.

My jeep disappear one time. I found it several days later in the last POI quest I do before disappear.

I also had a motorbike disappear. i was hooning around and as I'm going full speed up the side of a road, a chainlink fence suddenly appeared out of nowhere. I slammed the brakes on and tried to turn and just lightly nudged the fence and the motorbike disappeared.......in a big ball of flame as it blew up.

It still shows up on my compass/map but it is not like appearing in game, it’s been like a day or so now of me playing and it still has not shown up. Yeah after I saw everyone’s replies I just used creative for a sec and spawned a new one. What a weird little glitch. Wasn’t too detrimental to me though.

Surprising, but I suppose not surprising that this bug is still in the game. I've heard that this can happen when exiting the game while riding a vehicle and also if near a trader. Sometimes it can eventually show up in the last place you left it, or even spawn embedded in the ground. But also probably not.

Strange that it would happen while not riding the vehicle after properly exiting the game, though. If it's just a bicycle, though, it's not a huge loss. Hopefully you didn't have anything important stored in it.
