FPS drops/stutters that happen only in Multiplayer

Good time of the day. Me and my friends encountered a weird issue that only one of us (me) has during our multiplayer playthrough.

Every time a zombie appears or starts moving, I am experiencing sharp FPS drops, we are talking going from 60 to 1 and it happens consistently and almost every time zombie starts acting. It also happens when I move through the map, but the drops are less sharp and happen not as often.

In single player my game runs smoothly, with consistent FPS and 0 drops. We have mods installed, but I do not think they are an issue cause neither host nor one other player are having issues. It's just me, for some reason.

We aren't playing on a dedicated server, friend is hosting the map himself on his PC.

Any advice as to where might the issue be?

Double check your systems power profiles. I've tested and observed frequent stutter if the system is doing power throttling to the Nic (with MP games) and / or cpu / gpu. Also, double check that Xbox Gamebar settings and be sure it's not set to record gameplay and / or broadcasting cuz, that'll hit performance--usually also in SP mode though.

Power profiles are set for maximum performance, voltage of both CPU and GPU are in acceptable ranges, not overvolting/undervolting. The game runs perfectly fine in single player. I do not have Xbox Gamebar enabled, as far as I am aware. It cannot be drone issue since the map is fresh and none of us used them yet, unless it can affect us right from the start.

No, the drone issue (theoretically) shouldn't be a problem till after someone's built drones and then lost one somewhere or it just bugged out for some reason. The game is not well-optimized yet so, you would get 'some' fps dips but, shouldn't be anything real drastic... unless there was some corruption of the map or game files or gpu driver. Or, some oddball background app / processes running that shouldn't need to be. Definitely should have the game exe's listed in any Anti-Virus / Windows Security 'Exceptions' list though or it would cause issues' if trying to scan the files while playing.

But, being this is limited to one person and only in MP, the other suspect would be an incorrect Network Adapter configuration, running through a VPN, or faulty setting in Modem / Router--which you can reset by turning off power to them for 15 minutes before restarting them.

We've found the solution - it was one of the mods that added custom models in. We've been able to fix it by removing them and its been smooth experience so far!

Turns out other players had it too, just to lesser extent since their PCs are more powerful.
