No Roads or very little roads in Random World Generator

After generating a number of random world seeds I have found that very little roads are generated. All the towns have no roads and most roads lead to nowhere. Lots of dirt roads but no main roads.

Something maybe the Dev's need to look at. In the past I have used Nitro but Random Gen needs looking at.

There are a lot of other settings aside from seed to play with. I occasionally see no roads on single biome maps fwiw. adding in 25%+ of another biome changes it completely. Also I usually like my maps small (2-4k) and turn everything but towns/wilderness poi off as travelling all over the place because random mountain is pretty meh, especially after the 100th time.

I tried a couple. Names were "7days" and "Deathvalley"

Now... I've regenerated the preview and more roads have appeared. It may mess my save up now but its strange. I think maybe the issue came from starting the game and generating it at the same time.

I have been playing with world gen. I have found never dropping a biome below 15% seems to be problematic now. if you want a well built world keep terrain and biomes all 15% or above.

My data set is not real large but I definitely am seeing issues with the roads.

I'm looking to restart with Navgane instead for now. But will keep playing with the world gen as I like to play new maps everytime to keep it interesting. Main issue is no roads in towns. You get to a town and its like alots of building in the wilderness

Ah Result.. So making the map bigger and changing biomes has generated quite a decent looking map.

I guess its just trial and error to get it right for now

Have you uninstalled, delete your game files, saves included then reinstalled?

first time i ever heard this. it deff sucks. Ive never had the issue my roads are fine

Have you uninstalled, delete your game files, saves included then reinstalled?

I did have issues with POI's missing too on Navezgane so i'm trying it now with a fresh install

I Can confirm uninstalling the game and re-installing a fresh game has fixed the roads in town issue
