buildings are turning pink
At a certain distance building just turn pink, but load when i get closer, this wasn't an issue before the update, another thing is when I'm starting the game, on the lowest graphic settings, the game will freeze on me and stop working, inevitably crashing, a windows window then pops up saying "windows is trying to detect the issue" and then says "7daystodie.exe has stopped working, close the program?". Occasionally unity will pop up and download something, I don't know what it's downloading, but it's downloading something, doesn't finish, and crashes. I don't know what to do, this is easily one of my favorite games and I don't have a clue as to how to fix it.

Maybe A silly question but have you tried validating the files?

Yeah, didn't work, I've got it running as administrator as well, didn't help.

Do any errors pop up in your console in game?

This is a screenshot I took back in 2021 when my buildings were turning pink, My issue was a broken mod though.

F1 to open console while playing.

You could also try to save your game file locally & completely reinstall the game. Internet is saying sometimes the alphas textures clash upon updating.

One more thing you could try is updating your graphics card drivers.

Last thing I can think of is re-generate a new map if you aren't using a premade one

Which renderer are you using from the launcher?

DX11, Vulkan, or OpenGL

brushrat, I am using a pregen map, my graphics card should be able to handle the game, but whenever I load in, I quiet literally can't press any buttons, it crashes when my character spawns.

yeah vulkan didn't work too well, it finished loading, but before I spawned in, crashed, on a pregen world as well
