Did you run the launcher after re-installing and (switching to 'tools' tab) use the 'Clean....' option? Need to choose all the checkbox options. First, make a backup of your save and map files though......however......you can only use a save and map in the same Alpha version it was created. Like....you can't use an A19.x game save in A20.x.

yep i use the laugher each time, delete all my save in case it would help
And well you can't even laugh a map in other version so wouldnt have change much but well we never know

Do you have the games exe files registered in Windows Security 'Exceptions' list? If not, do that and then do the 'Verify Files' in steam. Then run the launcher--tools--clean options again. Also, be sure you don't have a 'mods' folder inside steams directory...in the 7d2d folder. Mods folder should go into your user folder now.....down inside the ....\AppData\Roaming\7d2d folder. But, for now....just keep it out of there till you get it running correctly. Also, in steam library--7d2d--properties--betas.... opt into A20.6.....instead of having it where steam just installs whatever the latest is. Then do your 'Verify Files' option (after you've created the Exceptions ofc.)

No problem from lauching the game from the exe file. I verify the files once in a day everyday, about mod folder it was empty since a month but get rid of it where you was saying in case. Will try again for the vers 20.6, but fail for me before when i have try with 20.5 and .6.

Have try to look into the roaming part, and the save don't match the one i got in game (several empty, deleted long time ago, some with some data into, but also deleted) also can't access my profile in game, fount it in folder not sure what i should do about that part

Ok, so.... what version of the game was used to create your game save?
louveteau01 Mar 5, 2023 @ 4:07pm
the last one 20.6, also someting that would be interessing maybe is that i got out of range error, when i wanted to start a new game, when i wanted to go back to a older save, or also when i want to check my profile.

1) Go to \steamapps\common\7 Days To Die and delete the Mods folder.

2) Go to C:\Users\[NAME]\AppData\Roaming and delete the 7DaysToDie folder. Dont worry the game will re-create it for you.

3) Verify the game thru steam.

Try again.

If the problem persists then it would help save a lot of time and take out the guess work if you provided a log file. Instructions on how to do this can be found in the pinned threads.

Scary stuff the roaming part
Will save some folder before just in case

There's no harm in deleting the 7DaysToDie folder in appdata. The game will re-create the folder when you start the game and reset everything back to default. 95% of the time this will solve any possible corrupt profiles, maps, or settings that may have happened at some point from using mods in the past.

You're free to save the current files, but I strongly suggest trying the game without the old files first to see if solves the problem. Because if the old files are corrupted and you move them back to the newly created folders then your just going to corrupt those too. Which will only lead you back to the square one. If a 7 days to die file or folder gets corrupted then it's corrupted forever. Moving it won't solve the problem.

It's hard to understand what you are trying to say. I don't know if it's because you are typing from a phone, or it's because English is not your native language and there's a language barrier between our responses. Could you please do one of two things. Either speak in your native tongue and maybe someone else here who speaks your language can help you better. Or use something like google translator?

If I'm understanding this right. You have a slow connection and downloading the game again (reinstalling) will take a lot of time. That's fine. Let it finish downloading and install.

But again I strongly suggest deleting the entire 7DaysToDie folder in appdata/roaming as well because reinstalling the game with steam does NOT delete the folder in appdata/roaming and this seems to be where your problem is at.

If this doesn't solve the problem then post a log file so we can see what is happening.

You can find out how to find and post a log file here:

When i was saying i have try that i was talking about what you post before, (get rid of mod folder in valve, common, 7day ... , then delete the folder in roaming .
Then that my two issue that i suspect to be linked, the profile section of the game that i can have access too, and the get a game to work, either a new or a old one.

So been abble to reach the selection of profile page one time but not fully before being completly bugged out. No much change from the game part either.

Then i wonder if maybe if i check with data that would be related with geforce now (basically and app that allow you to run game with the help of server, so help with bad co).

Also translator app are ok when it come to few word but more than that it's a recipe to disaster in my opinion.

will try to post a log.

At this point, you need to start with a fresh game. This is essentially what the instructions in my initial post was doing without having to reinstall everything through steam.

If you think your GPU drivers being out of date may be the problem, and downloading them is an issue because you have a slow connection, then I would say that's a good place to start.

Again, posting a log file would show this information and make this easier on all of us.

Well after going trough the log (here the link if you want to check it https://pastebin.com/AJcNKqUw )

From my reading the issues seem to be

Fallback handler could not load library D:/SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/7 Days To Die/7DaysToDie_Data/Mono/XInputInterface32 /more line like that with diferent file concerned after mono

also that one
2023-03-06T04:10:25 154.389 INF GameSense server not found (no props file), disabling

the index out of range

And more "at archetypes line"

Have update my driver with geforce experience few days ago so this part should be okay

Will going to sleep few hours it's 7 am here.

I'm not familiar with how GeForce Now is used along with PC games or specific installation procedures with GeForce Now.

On a PC installation of 7d2d, there are 3 folder locations you need to delete after an uninstall of 7d2d.
1. C:\Program Files (x86) \Steam\SteamApps\Common\... the 7d2d folder
2. C:\Users\ your user name \AppData\LocalLow\.... The Fun Pimps folder
3. C:\Users\ your user name \AppData\Roaming\... the 7d2d folder

Afterwards...
In steam library, Right click on 7d2d, choose properties, select Betas tab, opt into A20.6 stable.
Now, install 7d2d.
Next, open Windows Security... Virus and Threat protection... manage settings... Exceptions.
Add 7d2d.exe, 7d2dlauncher.exe, EAC.exe to the exceptions list.
In steam library.... 7d2d properties.... do the 'Verify Files' option.

Your install of 7d2d should be good at this point. But, you need to clear the old data from Windows Registry for the previous installs of 7d2d. To do this, run 7d2d launcher.exe, switch to tools tab, click 'clean....' select all checkboxes, and clean the old data. Switch back to main tab. Disable EAC and Analytics. Select 'Run and save......'

You should be in 7d2d menu. Optimize video settings. Create your Profile. Start a new game using Navesgane map to test with. If it's working correctly, you can exit that game, go back to main menu, choose world editor, create a map. Exit and Restart 7d2d. Create a new game using a different game name than last time. Choose custom map and select the one you created in the previous step. Test your new game.
