Sick of restarting from scrach

I start my 60+ hour world today and my character goes flying through the air and dies. The game then crashes so i reload and im in an infinite death loop, dead as its loading then the game crashes.
This has happened to me more than once where im stuck in an infinite death loop, stuck in the ground or something but this once takes the cake as when i logged off i was just standing in the middle of nowhere so it just makes no sense at all.
Is there any role back system or anything to stop this? Im almost done with this game. Stop adding features and fix the dam performance.

I've never had this issue. Do you use mods? Are there huge version gaps between when you last play? Have you tried turning on godmode or fly mode to see if you can break the loop that way?

That issue has been fixed in the current latest experimental version that was released today.
What you'd have to do with your save is to go into debug mode, press escape, press the teleport to poi button, and click on any of the pois, so you can teleport to safety before your game crashes.
You would probably have lost all the items you had, but you'll be able to continue playing.

That was a bug that happened when you log out on or near a vehicle.

No mods are enabled. I was and am playing on the latest version of the game. Oh really, I will try what you guys recommended and see what happens, thanks. I had all my best stuff on me and all my coin :(

So thats whats happened.
I just loaded the game from last night and immediately died and game crashed. Reloaded; died and now back at base. I was sitting on the bicycle at the time it happened.

Thank you guys so much. As the game started i went in to debug mode with F1 and activated debug mode then activated god mode which gave me the chance to re spawn at my bed. my bag is still available aswell. Thanks Midas and chikorinakitty, this games pisses me off but the game is amazing just sometimes these bugs make me rage.

If you want the newest version but you're still on A20.3, you might need to go back into the game's Beta tab in Steam and manually select the "Latest Experimental" down at the bottom of the list.
This should update you to the newer A20.4 build.
