I got the bike back when I try to go back to my home. Game teleported me to the bike as riding.
Do NOT log off while on a vehicle.
Do NOT log off near a trader / within their land claim area--where you can't place a block down.
You maybe able to recover your save. When you get logged in, hit F1, type DM, enter, esc. Hit Q--you'll be able to fly and move to safe spot above ground. Hit Q again then, F1, type DM--to exit Debug Mode--enter, esc. You're now back in regular mode safely on ground. Move to an 'ACTUAL' safe place, log out. This will overwrite the corrupted save with a good one. Log in and play.
Thanks but this is not the problem. I don't log off by my decision. The main problem is the game crashes always. I use windows 10. I don't have a graphics card so I have only a CPU intel UHD Graphics to play (probably that's the reason of crashes) but I downgraded the settings to low or off options and it is still playable in between 25-40 fps. I hate these crashes, especially, in the middle of a Tier 5 Clear job.
If you're familiar (or want to get familiar) with your PC's BIOS settings, you should be able to allocate additional RAM for the integrated graphics. This should help boost the graphics capabilities a little.
THANKS for that! I crashed and my bike was gone (early game). But it also had equipment on it. It came back, but in an odd place about 300m from where it had been. But, got it back.
Game crashes, you log back in to find minibike is gone, make a new one, driving along the area where you lost your bike and game glitches and you can't control anything anymore have to force quit out of the game, when you come back you on the new bike you built and came across your old bike, but now all your items on the tool belt are gone.
In the console (press F1) the game periodically prints various debug output, and among those lines there's vehicle manager printing every vehicle coordinates. Use these coords to find the disappeared vehicle. The problem with the crashed game/bad save is that the vehicles coords are saved way less often and the incomplete save could have your bike coords from a couple of minutes ago.
Don't try to ride a horse or bike into the traders to save time before they close either it is liable to vanish with all your stuff when you get kicked out. Guess how I know. Use the console if it does not return.
