for the turrets u can disable and enable targets it its gui so make sure the correct ones are toggled. i did find out however putting a block direct above the turret can get it stuck at aiming so keep a eye out on that.
Seriously you just quoted him saying he did all those things and you're telling him to make sure he did all those things? lmao.
Here's what I do for my SMG turrets, hopefully you spot something missed in your setup:
1) Generator turned on and working, wired to SMG and BladeTrap (so if the Blade Trap turns on, I know there's power; you could use a lightbulb).
2) SMG ammo unlocked, then loaded with plain 9mm ammo (other varieties of 9mm didn't work in A18, so I assume they're the same in A20), then ammo locked. Targets set (Strangers & Zombies, etc (I've tested with Self, it worked as expected)). Camera adjusted (click in the view-window to adjust this) so the Turret sees the target area only (I aim it to the area behind the Blade Trap to mow down the lucky ones).
3) Confirm SMG is repaired (these are very rarely damaged, but maybe an exploding Cop or Demolisher would damage it).
