yea, holding F didn't work either. If I equip a flashlight in my hand I can turn it on and off by holding F but nothing happens when I put on the mining helmet. :(

Possibly a bug. I'll go check if I can replicate your issue.

It was like that in A19 too, for me. If you have a weapon mod that requires using the F key to use, the helmet light does not work anymore. one or the other.

You need helmet flashlight mod. Mining helmets does not have built in light anymore.

Oh...just in case ... the mining helmet no longer comes with a default light working from the getgo last I knew. You still have to put a headlight lamp mod in it.

Even mining helmet needs a flashlight mod installed.
