When you enter a POI correctly and you follow the way through also correctly, then you can open a locked door in the last room to leave just by clicking the keys.

It's basically just a switch that will open some locked doors. I've seen one that opened a shutter door too. It's a pretty nice new addition. Will allow for some very cool POI designs.

Key in Joe Bros Crane???

Iam in the town Departure in south east Navezgane. There is the Joe Bros construction site with a yellow crane. Since alpha 20 this crane is remodeled and has a bigger cabin up top.
There is a little cabinet in that cabin with like a key and i wonder what it does. I've seen the cabinet and clicked (i guess picked up the item) too fast and didn't read what it was...
Now i wonder..

I believe it opens the door to the loot room so you don't need to break it down.

Yeah, some pois now have switches or keys to open doors to different areas. Some open loot rooms, others open an exit area.

Be aware that the door stays locked. It just swings open. You can´t close it again.

They usually open an exit door or a loot room area.

Funny thing is, they open the doors without unlocking them, so you can't close them again without destroying the doors and building new doors. Some of the other switches (garage switch for example) can be used multiple times.
