Can not create a new random gen world
I have done everything I can think of. I have deleted world saves, re-installed the game, and even purged the entire game from my hard drive. I still can not create a new random gen world, its red and says one already exists. I do not know what else I can do. I've watched every youtube video, read every discussion, and still this problem persists. What the heck am I missing?

Have you tried changing the seed and game name?

Yes, nothing works. I know you're only allowed one random gen of each size, but no matter what I do, the game still believes my old maps still exist, even though I've deleted the game entirely from my computer. I'm assuming there is a file somewhere else but I cannot find it anywhere. I really don't understand how a game can require people to go through all this work just for a new map in the year 2022 and how this issue has gone on for so long without any fixes. The game is essentially unplayable for me now unless I play on a Pre-Gen map, which is boring.

the worlds are in a different folder somewhere in an appdata folder. google to find out where they are and see if they are deleted (they probably aren't).

I've tried this, I found the world's folder and deleted everything and still no dice. I've watched every single youtube video i can find about this and it still doesn't work

You can very easily delete old worlds.

when you click 7dtd in your steam games list, a box pops up with play and show launcher as the two options. choose show launcher.

go to tools and click all the boxes, making sure delete ALL worlds is checked.

click to run the launcher.

you should do this between every major (a19>a20) update. it is also a great place to start if you have any bugs after a minor update. it fixes a lot of them.

Location for worlds created

1: Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\7 Days To Die\Data\Worlds\

Worlds played, copy ends up here

2: \AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\ ... delete all

Justin Case...

That path is (usually) C:\users\<current user>\appdata\roaming\7DaystoDie\
Replace <current user> with the name of the logged in account.

You can get to it in Windows OS by using the RUN command and entering %userprofile%\appdata\roaming\7DaystoDie\

If you are trying to create a new world with Random world generation, it will usually tell you that a world name already exists. Just type something into the Seed column and this should be fixed. If it doesn't not really sure what to tell you.
