My Friends Game Crashes when i join them and i cant fix it!

i join other people and their servers crash! i tried all the stuff i saw online to fix it including going into properties and fixing a lot of stuff but it just doesn't work! Can anybody help??

This can mean that the files you have and the files the server has dont match. Mods, game version etc. - your game installations should match. Can you confirm with them that what you have is exactly what they have?

If you're crashing the server then maybe your installation is sending a bad network packet, you may be crashing the connection thread. Can they look in the games log file to see if there is anything in there for errors or something like: ConnectionFailed or other error (am using connection as an example). If they find anything you can post it here.
