Reflex Sight Glare....

This, combined with the very faded color of the red dot, makes these optics kinda useless in a way.....

I even looked through the game files to try and find something pertaining to the reflex sight's optic brightness or something and found nothin'.

It used to be that, if you put a dye on your weapon, which is something I do because I'm a ditz and sometimes sold things I did NOT want to sell, the dye bleeds over to the red dot sight and gives it a weird, blurry... visual. It's annoying but yeah. Try taking off any dye if you have it in there. Otherwise, it looks fine to me.

Yup, ill post asking about things I have questions on. I try googling and youtube videos, but most often, those dont answer the questions. You must be one of those "any thing that isnt: the game is perfect and I love everything about it, is complaining" type of players......

This game's optics are all kinda wack to. Ive tried iron sights on weapons, while some arent terrible, they arent great either. I tried the 2x scope, but thats just a sniper scope, instead of being like the reflex sight and being more like most other games optics.

So, 'wack' is obviously relative to the person using the term. I use a crossbow almost exclusively when doing POIs, stealth being my fun place since I find shoot-em-up to be a bit boring. I use a 2x scope, 4x if I'm not yet able to find a 2x, and it's perfect for me.

Other games and their optics mean absolutely nothing to me but THIS game... I've watched this game progress for many years, and I find the optics to be quite nice as long as you remember what I told you about the red dot and dye in the weapon using one. Your experience may be different, but in the case of the weapon you were using in that picture... take the dye off it and see if it helps.

Eh, more like a bunch of nagging questions and annoying moments ive long been wondering about and all at once decided to post to get some ♥♥♥♥ cleared up. Definitely, many things i still dont like about the game, and thats the case with almost every game ive ever played, outside of a very small number. I only quit playing when a game's irritating BS becomes greater than the enjoyment of the game. This game isnt quite there yet.
