7DTD Linux ERROR: Shader is not supported on this GPU
I bought this game for my son for Christmas, but upon attempting to run it I get nothing but black when getting into a game. The compass at the top of the screen is visible, as is the toolbar at the bottom, but everything else is just solid black.

I already tried changing the graphics settings from the initial recommended settings (I think it was Medium or High to the lowest settings, but it didn't change the behavior. I also did some searching and found a suggestion on reddit to try launching with "-force-d3d9" in the custom launch options but that didn't help either.

On looking in the logs, I found the following bit:
WARNING: Shader Unsupported: 'Hidden/Nature/Terrain/Utilities' - All passes removed WARNING: Shader Did you use #pragma only_renderers and omit this platform? along with a few more errors about shaders. I figure this is probably my issue, but I've tried searching for the error message and didn't turn up any useful information, or suggestions on how to fix.

Here's the specs for the computer we're trying to run this on. I know it's not the best, but it's what we've got right now... For reference it's running Mint 20 with Cinnamon desktop.

Is the graphics card in this machine too old? The 7850 in this machine seems like it should meet the minimum requirements and runs plenty of other games just fine, this is the first time encountering an issue like this.

This is because of new Unity features that haven't been implemented in the game code yet. They can be ignored.

When I launched again today I tried it with the default settings, instead of just hitting the minimums and noticed a colored square on the ground, and a colored highlight on character arm. I took a screenshot of what I'm seeing, which I posted here: https://pasteboard.co/JHYb8Oh.png
