Friend can't join my server anymore

Have been playing with a friend for a while, but on our last session she was kinda laggy and decided to reconnect. However she couldn't - now every time she trie to join, after world initialising she gets a console message:

NullreferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object

and after thet the game doesn't proceed with creating her character. I also checked the logs on my side, and saw the following warning popping up when she was joining:


2020-09-26T23:49:37 1746.152 WRN Spawned entity with wrong pos: [type=EntityPlayer, name=Hot Maid, id=19797] id=19797 pos=(0.0, 0.0, 0.0)

Is there any way to make her be able to join agan? She can join any other server just fine, and other friends can join the server we were playing without any problems, so its the problem of one specific person being unable to join one specific server.

We tried removing her save file from appdata folder, and we tried to make her a new profile and make her join with "persistent profile" option turned off, neither of the methods helped

Most likely his savefile on host side got corrupted.
The only way I managed to fix it was to get to 7d2d save file folder and delete the info on player in question. After that she managed to join, although as a new level one character. Level was easy to restore via console, but readed books and her inventory were forever lost.

having the same problem here with different text prompts saying an issue, if anyone has an answer not save file related that would be dope

I had the same problem, fixed it by deleting myself from the hosts world save file. Make sure you are deleting the file with the steam id of the person.
