Game won't load, error Loading and parsing xml?

Hello,

I keep getting an error trying to open my game save. I just started playing yesterday and already I get an error saying:
"ERR Loading and parsing xml (Document element did not appear. Line 1, position 1.)
NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

I don't have any mods, or any other saves. Here is a picture of what it looks like when I try to access the game, and my output log:

Verify your game files. One of the xml's has an error in it.

I already did, it didn't find anything wrong. Once I did, I tried to open the game again and the same thing happens.

Wipe your save and try it fresh then. Maybe the config for the save is corrupted.
