Can't get passed loading game data!

Hey all,
I can not seem to get past loading game data and have not been able to. I have switched between 32 and 64 as well as trying to disable anti cheat. My specs can run the game so it is not that. I have re installed 3 times and it has not done anything

After months of playing, I suddenly had the same problem. I had to reinstall my nvidia graphics card, then I reinstalled Steam, then reinstalled 7D2D, turned off anticheat, and now it runs great. You won't lose saved games. I had been using 32 bit, now I can use 64. Good luck- that sucks

I just installed 7DTD on a new computer yesterday, and I'm getting the same issue. I've verified my files, uninstalled/reinstalled the game, updated my drivers, restarted my computer, and all to no avail. Guess I'll try Foxy's fix...

Yea thanks man but I’m not reinstalling my gpu for a game lol that is rediculous. No wonder it was on sale

I found the game was somewhat crashy for me until I added an exception for it to my antivirus. Before I did this it would sometimes get stuck loading too so maybe that will help.

HAve you tried any of the options in the Game's Launcher? if not, right click 7DTD in your library and choose: show game launcher. Try G L Renderer....i think it is.

I added it to my list and it did nothing so I disabled protection and it loads.. go figure. Thanks all

EAC often causes the game to hang at loading or on a black screen while loading. There's a few good suggestions here, but another would be to run the EAC installer in the EAC folder within 7 Days' folders, and have it "repair" itself.

I did this after switching from Starvation back to regular 16.3 a few days ago... seems EAC had issues switching from modded to unmodded and that fixed it for me.

Still - some good suggestions given.

Also - EAC stands for Extremely Aggravating Crapware.
