Strange Ghost Blocks/Textures
So, I've encountered some strange issues with textures. After some time in game the textures at the Hospital just freak out and a clone of the hospital appears over it, with walk through blocks popping here and there. I'm not sure what this is, if it has to do with placing hte land claim block or if it's cause of extended play time, since it fixes itself if I exit the sesion and reload.

Well i dont know if it is issue of VRAM coz i dont think that my 8GB 1070Ti should have problem with it, but it is 7d2d so u never know, but i can confirm that i have this issue as well.

hit f1 to open the console and type "pois" (without the quotation marks).

this will remove the ghost blocks, which are due to the distant poi view not unloading when you get close. It will remove all distant poi view though.

the problem is related to vram, but i have zero technical knowledge lol.
It worked for me.

Yea it doesn't work in MP. I tried and they are still there on screen after I leave the room/house and return. I turned POIs off then on again but still persists. GF attempts it but it just says denying attempt ...

This issue is in alpha 19. The only solution I've found is to relog when it happens.

A good way to resolve it was by typing pois into the command console.

A good way to resolve it is to ask them to fix a bug thats been around for 7 years.

I assume you're indirectly quoting me, trying to start a fight. I merely suggested how to fix an issue for now via that command, I was in no direct/indirect way saying that this issue shouldn't be resolved, I've had to go through it multiple times in my games so far with A19. Think a bit before you instigate mate.

Not at all, it was just a poke at a bug thats been around way too long.
It, in no way, had anything to do with you other than the subject.

Got you, sorry for the misunderstanding brother.

Same problem in A19.1, my solution was to start from laucher and change directX to vulkan (not tested with GLcore due to losing more performance).
important: I get less fps than with directX.

I will try this as it still is a constant problem for me with new games and old games alike.

Another way to make them go away is to open console and type "pois" without the quotes. This will deactivate rendering of far away objects though. But once you are done with the poi that had the "ghost blocks" you can go back into console and type "pois" again to turn distant drawing on again.
This is not a perfect solution, but it works 100% of the time.

sorry, i disagree. i typed in pois which deactivated it, but ghost blocks were still there, even when i left chunk and came back after minute. i wasnt trying to restart game meanwhile tho. but still. tried pois and it failed :/. for now only working solution is quiting world and joining/starting it again. that way they will render again, but without bugs.

Try "Pois" instead of "pois".

I know for at least one person, capitalizing made a difference.

If that command isnt working you have something else wrong with your game files, some conflicts going on, because it has worked for the last 3 Alphas. Did you generate the map with the random world generator in 7d2d or with nitrogen? Not that it matters, it works with both, but still interested to know.
