"Game Security Violation Detected (#0000000D) [lightingservice.exe]"
Posted this issue in a topic that listed this error message (after a search). Instead of bothering to reply or give advice, the moderator just said it is an old thread and locked the topic. Thanks for your help there, big guy.

Just bought and installed this game...keep getting this error about a min after the game launches.

So, new machine, new download of Steam, new install of the game...this issue pops up and apparently it used to happen in the past versions. Seems to be an issue with the anti cheat software not liking and AMD driver of some sort. Any advice on how to fix it?

Disable your RGB Lighting software. It doesn't play nice with EAC. Someone should tell the RGB guys to write better code.

Just use GAPA if you can still find it. Free.

Haha...tell EAC to do something. That's a great joke. By all means, go tell EAC to ignore that .exe; Let us know how far you get.

It's not that EAC needs to ignore the file. It's the memory addressing and access methods the RGB software uses that triggers EAC. The RGB software codes need to use less forceful code injection. They way the most of them are written works very similar to the way dll code injection works for cheat engines. If your RGB software is set to snoop for certain program hooks and make changes based on them, there is a very likely chance that every anti-cheat software will have a problem with them.

Thanks SylenThunder...much more helpful of a comment than Shurenai, which is the same way he treated my first question. First game I have run into that has a problem with RGB software.

RGB software is a pita, especially Asus's. I'm never buying another Asus peripheral again.

The latest Rog Armoury screws with a lot of things, and apparently you cant go back to the old simple version because it auto updates your firmware, which cant be reverted.

I have the same issue on an ASUS board, Good heads up it's the RGB SW, Thanks!

Don't know if you ever sussed this but you can quickly avoid this by stopping the lightingservice.exe in computer management. Computer management > Services and Applications > Services, Find the "lightingservice", right-click and stop it. Just did this to bypass, you'll need to start the service again after you're done or won't be doing its role for some feature of the RGB.

Gratz on raising a zombie.

It is an EAC issue. Nothing TFP can do about it.
