Possible issue with boosted experience

After taking a bit of a break from 7DTD, I returned today to try out the new changes. I really am enjoying the new features and being able to choose/customize my game. One option I chose was to boost the experience level up to 300%. The experience was rolling in and I was gaining levels at a pretty fast and consistent rate. However, at level 24 I realized that my experience bar was not advancing at the rate it previously was. In fact, I never saw it move at all after mowing down several zombies, trees, and boulders. I checked the player stats and see that I have 16,086,133 experience points until level 25. I do not monitor experience points per level, and so I have no idea how many experience points each level up to 25 required. Does 16 million seem a tad bit high? I am unsure if this is a glitch, bug, or what.

Its buggy and reported in the right TFP forum.
If you (with raised XP) gain enough XP to overjump a level, the table becomes buggy

Temporary sollution so far i read it is to "giveselfxp 10000" so often until you reach the buggy level, then the levelsystem goes back to normal (Not sure about the 10000, but what i read you need to spam the console command, giving all XP at once dont work) maybe try 100k steps to reach your 16 mio

Thank you for the reply and the helpful information. I was just searching TFP forums to see if this has been noticed and/or reported. You saved me a LOT of searching. Maybe I better tone down the XP modifier a bit. I was cranking out levels like it was cool. lol!

LOL, we posted at the exact same time. I saw all the numbers and thought I broke something in the forum! Yep, I think it is safe to say that I am bugged. I will try to give myself exp and see if I can unbreak myself. :) Thanks again Priest!

Me and another user here had the same thing happen. After I started a 3rd new game and new map, it finally worked right.

Oh bummer! Restarting stinks but glad to hear that you got it to working right. I tried Priest's method above of "giveselfxp" and was able to debug it. However, I spammed it a bit too much and ended up with about 10 additional levels. The XP modifier also modifies the amount of "giveselfxp" that is typed in. Woops! I think that I also might have to restart now. lol!

Yeah, i got a little greedy as well when i saw exp was on a slider.
Fortunately it was a test game... I have no excuse either, on holidays
so i have plenty of time.. Ha ha..

I stop getting experience whenever I do a trader mission. I have many other bugs too, the new patch is nearly unplayable.
