Can't seem to gain any exp

I am not sure if anyone else is having problems but since the last patch I have not been able to level . I started a fresh game went to the city killed at level 1 189 zombies with cheat mode on still level 1. I verified cache and tried again same thing took cheat mode off again. the same thing. Going to try reinstalling the game and see if that fixes it

it seems like levels are tied to increasing your skills. Were your skills increased at all?

Having the same issue, going to delete my character and see if that helps.

Same problem on my end. Stuck with a sliver of xp left until next level, and have been killing zed's and crafting like crazy and still no xp or level up.

It just stopped at lvl 15 and by now i should be around lvl 25+

I heard this patch bugged leveling so you no longer get exp from killing.

Why reinstall it if it's patch related, you'll only wind up experiencing the same thing. Your better off reinstalling the 13.3 build and see if that levels you up. Or, you could re-verify the integrity of the games cache files incase a file got corrupted, if so, it'll only download and reinstall the affected file(s).

Been there done that its def patch related had no issues til 13.4. And yes don't bother with cache or re-installing didnt work for me :/

If on windows %appdata%, 7 days 2 die, saves, find the world name you used (it will be the folder name) then players folder. You should be able to delete in their and you will start over on single player and if you have a server admin do this you will start over. You won't loose your current buildings or landclaims, you just have to make it back to them.

You sure you're not seeing skill leveling that is leveling your character? Because we're not getting xp from zeds even after doing what you suggested. We see our characters getting chunks of xp from skill increases, like archery and guns. We're not even getting xp increases from crafting. just from skill level ups.

Yes you start over from scratch with your character it works like a charm. Our server admin has helped wipe my character profile from the server, I started back at level 1 and I am gaining xp like normal now.
