Freeze/hang when opening inventory or containers.

Pretty sure i saw info on this somewhere but have failed to find it. Been having an issue for a while where the game freezes and sometimes even becomes non responsive when opening inventory or containers. Often it will unfreeze after 30 seconds or so, sometimes it will crash completely.

This happens in single and multiplayer.
Anyone else have this or know how to fix it/what causes it?

I think this is because of a RAM issue, when the game has used as much memory as it is allowed to in your system, the game has to resort to pagefile from your harddrive which is very slow hence the freeze.

Do you have 8Gigs or less? For this game i'd recommend atleast 12Gb.

Just to add to this slightly; IF you have 8gb or less, You're riding on the bare minimum ram required, and you'd basically ahve to be playing on a 4k map to avoid many problems like this. 12gigs is the currently Recommended requirement; And in most cases, I personally would suggest 16gb+ as ideal for if you want to do anything but 7DTD at the same time.
