Disappearing Vehicles

So I've had this happen twice now. first with my minibike and then my motorcycle. The first time I was exploring and I got off my bike to search a building and I come back and its gone, with a full inventory of useful loot. I had to walk all the way back to my house which took forever. I finally was able to make a motorcycle and after being away from home for several days looting useful gear and completing missions. It just disappeared again. This time, I had 100,000 Duke's casino coins, 500 round of shotgun, 7.62, and 9mm, and a plethora of extremely useful loot and weapons that I had collected over many different houses and POI's. Fix your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ devs. I was so pissed that I just wasted hours of looting and collecting gear and resources all in one moment. After over 200 hours in the game, This is my only issue with this game. FIX YOUR VEHICLES.

Same here lost my minibike and now motorcycle, but my buddies' vechicles are fine...he had similar issues in Alpha 16, and this is my first time losing vehicles, so no clue what's going on.

Just restarted my sp game and My motorbike full of loot just up and vanished on me,
Icon gone from the compass and all, game just forgot it existed.

Dunno why this is still a problem for 2 years.

a possible solution is to find the last two places that you got off your bike and go there. I have read that sometimes the vehicle location doesnt save with your progress and resets a little bit. I just found my motorcycle with all its stuff just now by retracing my steps. It is worth looking into.

Did it still show up the compass or did you have to wander about aimlessly looking for it?

I'll give it a another shot anyway.

It doesnt show until you get close enough to make it load by server/client.

Thank you! You saved not just my 4x4 truck but also my save file. Last time this happened on a different save file i got near the old 4x4 that i forgot about and the game merged with my current 4x4 truck with the old one permanently glitching it where i couldnt get out or open any menus.

It happened to me also with my mini bike, so I made another one did some looting and came back to my house with not only my mini bike, but the first one reappeared in the spot that I left it in.

it keeps happening to me too, it happened on a minibike, motorbike, motorcycle (basically all 3 bikes) and the 4x4 truck, it happens when you're laggy/got delay/packet loss/slow internet, once you exit the game might vanish your car, teleport it to a previous old location or simply make it below/higher than the ground where its almost invisible/unobtainable.

Sometimes restarting fixes it and makes it reappear, if not then its vanished forever.

hi, peoples on my server have same problems. they are good ping (max 29ms) and 0 loss packets. and still looking their machines.
problem no.2
player 1 have 4x4 with cargo, goes off on server, again join to server and in 4x4 have 2 weeks old cargo. goes again off, join on and in 4x4 have curent cargo (not always)
player 2 join on server, his motorbike takes in bag and "puf" have 2 motorbikes and new motorbije have cargo cca 2-3 weeks old.

game is in alpha about 10 years now. and still has lots of issues that is not resolved. Yesterday i made a motorcycle and went offline. When returned there was none and no icons. The worst part that i had a minibike and a bicycle in the motorcycle inventory so i lost all of them at once. i had it near my front door, safe because we play only 4 of us and none of them was logging on in the mean time i was offline. So the server time was stopped and nothing should happen at that time. But, the problem is still here. My friend also lost 3 drones and motorcycle in one game. The saves should be real-time without any chunk clearing. I saw in the logs there is clearing and resets going on in the background so i think this has to do with it somehow. Now i was forced to make another motorcycle to somehow move around and not to run like a new guy or drive with a bicycle.

omg i can't believe this bug still existtttttttt!!

I used to sometimes be able to use a command to list all available vehicles, and then teleport it to me, or teleport to it! Sometimes its simply not spawned at all in game.. sometimes you might airbreak and go underground to get it.. sometimes it literally vanishes and after few days playing it would respawn where you had originally left it.

This bug causes me to never use the car's inventory sadly as it became unreliable and i might lose everything.. if you're playing single player probably just use a command to respawn the vehicle but ik its not fun coz then it feels like youre cheating and stuff, and also after few days your original vehicle might spawn again, so now you'd have 2x in game

jestli hraješ někde na dedikovaným serveru tak máš jistě allocs fixes, ten přidává příkaz "get vozidlo entityid majitele". vanila ho neumí. Jinak se vozidla a drony ukládají do samostatných xml a může dojít k nějakému prodlení. Řešení bylo jít po svých stopách na destinaci posledního nasednutí / sesednutí a vozidlo se najednou ukázalo na mapě jak jsi se objevil v jeho blízkosti.
