Void?

So uh, I'm kinda lost. Earlier today I started up a save me and my mate play on, to see it got reset to day 1, and I spawned in with beginner items. I was confused, then immediately started to panic thinking my base would be gone, to my surprise it wasn't. All my gear was in the chests and I continued playing normally today. Made some progress and logged off, decided to log back in a little later right now and the entire game is black. As if I'm in a dark void. I open my map and my markers are still there but the map is black too. I try to teleport myself out as I think I might be stuck underground, and it didn't work. Anyone know any fixes?

Sounds like you did not exit the client correctly. Since you logged back on and made progress, you most likely over-wrote the backup, but you can still try...

Go to C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\7DaysToDie\Saves\Random Gen\[seed]\Player

Remove [number].ttp
Rename [number].ttp.bak to [number].ttp

In the end though, you will more likely need to wipe and start fresh.

Pro tip, back up your saves and you can fix this by only loosing the progress made since the last back up.
