Running game with 2 monitors connected = CRASH
I read the workaround but I am also curious after nearly 4 years if this will ever be corrected.

This is the only title in my entire library that has ever experienced such a crash because I am using 2 monitors.

Well it is still in EA thus not done. Something like 2 monitor support is going to be very low on a list of things to do priority wise too I would image. That said many have multi display setups and play it fine already.
SylenThunder Feb 7, 2018 @ 9:22am
I've played with 1, 2, and 3 monitors without an issue. I have also spanned them without issues.

Logs would be helpful.

Well, which logs do you need and I will oblige accordingly.

See the pinned thread "How to Report an Issue" for details on that.

A link to a published Speccy report[www.piriform.com] might also be helpful in this case.
It's almost definitely not a client issue, since I was spanning screens back in a10.4 for testing, and I can't recall the last time I didn't have at least two monitors. (Maybe before 2005?)
YamaKami (Banned) Feb 8, 2018 @ 3:48am
IMHO Bigger > multiple. So I will leave you to Sylen as I am not up to speed on multi monitor setups myself.

Sorry for the delay. Welp, back to trying to get this working once again (the game worked a long time ago)... Here's a log from a crash not 5 minutes ago...

KERNELBASE.dll caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
in module KERNELBASE.dll at 0033:64e03fb8.

you have to reinstall Windows
or
you find the problem causing it which can be anything

if it's your only Unity game with this crash then you can try if a clean reinstall of the game helps (registry clean, saves,...)

It is in fact the only Unity title that has this problem, and I know it sounds cliche but my system overall is pretty rock solid. I may try the REG cleaning at some point, but that'll be last resort, if anything. Appreciate the response and if anyone else has any ideas (or the DEVS for that matter), I am all ears.
The Dark Knight Feb 9, 2018 @ 1:32pm
So I went ahead and performed the uninstall option that the DEVS suggested, and now this window appears after crashing...

7DaysToDie.exe - Fatal Application Exit

Untrusted system file
(C:\Windows\System32\lavasofttcpservice.dll)

Good times! (that wasn't apart of the message) ;)
SylenThunder Feb 9, 2018 @ 1:34pm
1. Pastebin FTW. It's really a lot better than making a wall in a tight forum like this.

2. That error isn't necessarily a corrupt OS installation, it could be caused by another conflict, like your AV software blocking access.

3. Speccy link FTW. I'll do a deep dive on your system, processes, and drivers. It's really helpful for getting rid of bloat, and finding compatibility issues.
The Dark Knight Feb 9, 2018 @ 1:37pm
Well, some magic just occurred. So, I googled that untrusted part and basically it led me to the DEVS forums... By switching to 32 bit, I AM GOOD TO GO! OOOOOOH YA!

Thanks for all the help, folks.
YamaKami (Banned) Feb 9, 2018 @ 2:22pm
Why is it whenever the OS is a problem, people avoid fixing it. Then find non-solutions that are barely work arounds and celebrate?
The Dark Knight Feb 9, 2018 @ 2:30pm
If you can prove 100% my OS has an issue, please let me know. Oh, and the solution, too. It may be some time until you do.

My library isn't small by any means and quite literally this one game (out of hundreds) is the only game that I've ran across where crash after crash with no solution until what I posted was found.

untrusted system file is the EAC scan at install (will not let it install/work before it's trustworth/ deinstalled)

Deinstall the LavasoftTcpService
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxosA1CSi3k (manuel deinstall, no need for that service)
