Unable To Acquire "Stone" for Cement/Concrete (Solved)

Please for the love of god understand what I'm saying here. Every post Google has found on this topic has people answering the question by saying "go punch stone boulders for stone" and that is NOT the issue. I know how to find "Small Stones", I know how to craft tools, and I know where to dig for "Small Stones", they are not the issue. I have the "Concrete Mixing" perk unlocked, for inquiring minds.

I am unable to make Cement due to "Stone" not being acquirable.
- The Cement recipe calls for an item just called "Stone" that uses the "Small Stone" image in the Cement recipe (note that it says I have 0 in my inventory):

- When I look up "Stone" in the crafting menu it has its own image now but says it is made in the Mixer using "Small Stones" (note that it now acknowledges I have the "Small Stones"):

- I go to the Mixer to look up how to make "Stone" and it calls for "Cement" in the recipe (it still acknowledges I have "Small stones"):

- When looking up Cement again we have hit a loop, as it calls for the "Stone" with the "Small Stone" image (note that again it says I have 0 of them):

Not only is crafting cement impossible this way (it requires itself to be made) but there seems to be no way to gather this "Stone" (the bigger version of "Small Stones") in the wild. No tool in our arsenal gathers it as I have mined large boulders on the surface as well as all the way down to bedrock and tried using stone, iron, and steel tools and NONE have yielded "Stone". Are they just in the middle of adding/removing this step to refine/simplify it? Am I missing something? Is "Cement" broken right now? I also tried looking at the wiki and "Stone" is in red, meaning it does not have a page. So the Wiki sees it as an item and is highlighted, but the item does not exist. I know the wiki is a fan-made thing and not official and blah blah blah, I'm just saying I tried doing homework on it already.

For clarity's sake this is a public server I am playing on and the file for the world was wiped/created roughly 6 real time days ago. I am the highest leveled player on the server and am the first/only one to get the unlock on crafting Cement so there is no one else to compare with yet to see if I'm just bugged myself or if it is a server-wide problem. I am also fairly new to this later game content and have 0 knowledge on creative mode/console commands so testing this out in single player isn't available to me.

Try throwing your stone in a forge and melt it.

I can put "Small Stones" in the furnace and they add to the "Stone" tally in the Furnace's inventory, but this does nothing however to solve the "Stone" issue because "Stone" is made in the Cement Mixer, not the Furnace. They make other misc things in the Furnace, or come back out as "Small Stones". Please see the second image I linked, that shows the "Stone" requires the Mixer, not the Furnace.

"stone" in the recipe is more accurate "melted liquid stone" that you only get from a furnace.
So go to a forge, insert small stones, turn the thing on, wait, then pour out cement.

Then grab cement from the forge, head to a cement mixer and make concrete mix.

So we look at your screenshots;
1st one is from a workbench, not the correct place to make cement. note the smithing icon.
2nd one is from a workbench, if you check the icon it looks like a cement mixer, so this isn't the correct place either.
3rd shows the mixer, do note the concrete mix listed there with a student cap icon.
4th shows manual crafting, again not the correct place, the icon tells you that.

The hammer and steed icon represents a forge. The forge is the correct place to make cement from small stones.

Okay, my issue after my last post was that I had added my "Small Stones" to the Furnace and though they added themselves to the Furnace's inventory, I must have been having a graphical error causing me to see Cement still grayed out (and telling me I have 0 of the required "Stone (Forge)". I had to reset my game roughly an hour later and I opted to play elsewhere for a while. Upon coming back I saw the Furnace properly saying I had the required materials to make Cement. This is where I was getting lost. Thank you for pointing out to put it in the furnace though, I would have never thought to look there as I was going based off my inventory and not the Forge's.
