Console window randomly pops up and spams continuous red text

Summary: Console window randomly pops up and spams continuous red text. Unable to do anything afterward and must alt+f4 to restart the game. (This has occured in a local game, on a dedicated server and a game hosted by a friend. All at seemingly random times [alone, surrounded by players, surrounded by zombies, etc])

[ERR Exception thrown on 000ExpLfx while copying data at position 2116144 when data lenght is 4096: ArgumentException: length]

I'm getting the same thing happening; [ERR Exception thrown on 012ExpSec While Copying data at position 2116068 when data length is 4096: ArgumentException: length]

After 8 lines of this error I get the same error but the data length is 2512.

I have to use the same method to exit the game (Alt+F4). If I restart the game without rebooting the error happens again within a few minutes.

I am getting this when connected to a friend's server. Another player connected to the same server at the same time does not experience this so it's not the server and my game does not do it if I host my own server. My ping is lower than the other guy connected to the server so it's not lag causing it either. Validated my files too. This is annoying as it somehow creates hordes of zombies while I am logged in to the server, all trying to get to me and when the errors appear I get killed because of being unable to move.

I haven't had the issue since Alpha 20 came out. But, since then I made sure that I have the music shut off (for some reason I get better FPS) and I added the entire 7D2D directory to my exception list for my anti-virus. The anti-virus thing was suggested as a possible cause on a few web sites and I found that I also less lag since I added the exception (especially when hosting multiplayer).

You may also want to disable the ability for people to 'watch your game while you play' in your Steam settings. I've had some games lag out or crash when I had this setting turned on and someone tried viewing my game as I was playing.

same, since patch 20.4 (b42) the console window opens randomly in differend actions
* open vehicle inventory (the Vehicle inventory and console opens)
* open character inventory
* stop the vehicle the same
all the actions can randomly open the console window

If the console is open and I close it, all I can do is exit the game because I can't interact with further actions

I was using 20.3 Stable as of yesterday so that may have been the issue. They just released 20.4 Stable so I guess we will see if the issues has been fixed...

I was seeing the error and rebooting the game worked. My friend is experiencing the error and nothing he can do can fix it.

So I finally tried this game out and this is an issue from 2019. Seriously earlier access or not it should have been fixed. Mine seems to do it when someone activates twitch integration on my friend's server.
