"Kicking player (Server is still initializing)" when anyone attempts to connect to dedicated server

just as the title says, when someone attempts to connect, this is the error i get in their connection log. On their end it says "Server is still initializing, please try again in a minute" Hours waiting and still no luck there.

I've seen the issue in only a few other places but never any direct solves. Anyone have this issue and get it fixed?

Is your server using EAC ? Are the players? Dedicated as in hosted with a server provider or locally?

Its Dedicated, using EAC, hosted locally on another machine in my network, here is the log file

It looks as though even you can't join the server. I suspect its a port issue but can't be sure. This line here 2018-03-03T22:22:48 10.201 ERR [Steamworks.NET] Could not initialize GameServer gives me the impression either the server files are corrupt or it simply cannot connect. Have you verified the servers files?

yeah that was my initial thought as well, ports are open from 26900 to 26950, verified server files, even tried a clean install of them, with no alterations to the serverconfig.ini and even then it couldn't initialize, not sure whats going on with it or why it wont initialize :/

Might look at https://portforward.com/help/7-days-to-die/ to see if that helps with the ports. Not sure what modem / router you might be using.

Currently with Google Fiber, running their stock modem, can't find it on the list when i look for it. But yeah, still unsure as to where this issue lies.

Hopefully someone can assist. I would recommend spending a few bucks and getting an actual dedicated server. Unless you have a substantial system and bandwidth this game is hard on resources.
Running any mods or anything?

nah no mods, just a modified systemconfig, added a few skills, but nothing else besides, that, though i can't get it to run vanilla either. I have figured out its something to do with the PC itself, or the installation on that PC, as i can host one on my PC i play on, and it runs fine, same ini 's and everything. So something on the computer must be preventing it.

Totally disabled firewall to see if that was the issue. Reinstalled multiple times, did so many things, it all of a sudden just started working, i wish i could say conclusively what the fix was, but i can only assume it was from reinstalling? I'm at a loss, but at least its fixed. Thank you for bouncing ideas back and forth!

I have updated to the Alpha 18 but unfortunately I have the same problem now. Before everything went without problems.
