Can't switch weapons in hotbar

I've ♥♥♥♥♥♥ this bug where my character is stuck using a weapon and can't switch to anything else. Only thing that solves it is a full game restart, not just a relog. I have no idea whats causing this bug, only that its very troubling when the horde comes rolling about.

Change ammo type. This will fix the problem.
