*SOLVED* Stuck on building environment loading screen
Hey guys, so after playing for 10 hours on my save, I tried loading it up once again today but I kept getting stuck on "Building Environment..." no matter what I did.
I've searched a lot and I've seen a bunch of people with the problem dating as far back to 2013, but nothing fixed this.

Here's the things I've tried, all of which didn't work:
  • Running as administrator
  • Restarting PC
  • Verify cache
  • Opt back into 14.7 and tried loading an older save(Didn't even work here either)
  • Creating new saves, both navezgane and random gen
  • Deleting the entire game and also deleting all folders before installing again
  • Pressing ESC while loading to see if I was actually in the game but loading screen was just stuck on my screen, but nothing happend (I can hear rain sounds btw)
  • Tried going into windowed mode
  • Completely uninstalling everything again, but this time also all the registry files related
  • Running as admin, and compatibility mode for win 9
  • Tried different setups with the 7D2D launcher (like 32 bit)

Errors that I could find in the output_log.txt file:
- When loading main menu
  • The referenced script on this Behaviour (Game Object 'wdwFocusHealthState') is missing!
- When loading into the game
  • Fallback handler could not load library C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/7 Days To Die/7daystodie_Data/Mono/libc
  • Fallback handler could not load library C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/7 Days To Die/7daystodie_Data/Mono/.\libc
  • Fallback handler could not load library C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/common/7 Days To Die/7daystodie_Data/Mono/libc
  • WARNING: Shader Unsupported: 'Hidden/Dof/DX11Dof' - Pass '' has no vertex shader

  • WARNING: Shader Unsupported: 'Legacy/Shader GroundPlane' - Pass '' has no vertex shader

    - This one is a little odd, but it might be normal:
  • Loaded world file from different version: 'Alpha 14(b12)'
And the very last line reads:
  • 2016-10-07T14:18:27 41.153 INF [Steamworks.NET] GameServer.LogOn successful
    - This was after doing a completely clean install and making a new navezgane save for A15

15 first comments between me and YamaKami TL;DR:
  • Joining any multiplayer game works just fine, but I can't join any single player game which also includes creating one. Sometimes when I create an MP game and set it to public, it will go past "Building environment..." and goto "Loading city hub x/144" (or something like that) but it'll freeze there as well.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

And in case any moderator / devs reads this
I know that bumping is not allowed, but it seemed that it was not allowed for small posts that didn't need a bump, but just did it to have it at the top.. but I've been searching for a solution to this for 7 hours and still haven't found anything.

SOLUTION:
I started noticing more and more things that went wrong with my PC, for example 90% mem usage all the time, even after restart. So I decided to do a reboot of my PC but keeping personal files (not including 7D2D) and that did the trick. So in the end, it was my computer and not the game. Or maybe it was a software relating to 7D2D.

Not sure what your hardware is but a new nvidia driver came out today. Maybe update the driver and cross your toes as well as fingers and give it a whirl again?

are you on B105 or B104. Apparently B105 is new and fixes some nvidia issues.

What number do you get up to when making the hub? saying "x/144" is not useful. Have you tried deleting the map files and trying to load the save again? some one else said that worked for them.

When you are stuck at the loading screen, just wait +/-5 second & then puch keybord link to open your inventory & you will enter in the game... I am not a expert right but I think it's cause about the "peer-to-peer" about "HubCellData", since a15 out I was play on a public server & when I go see in the folder save, I have more than 2000 files ".hcd" o_O
I already tried that, but it seems that the game completely freezes for me as I can see my fps is stuck at one number

The reason I said x was because it would crash at different numbers, but now it seems to freeze at 6/144 every time and I'm on B105 and I've tried deleting every single folder relating to 7D2D and The fun pimps, even registry files

Hey, I'm not very computer literate and I'm having this same issue...

Where you say you "rebooted", what exactly do you mean? I know this is a base question, so please bare with me...

It's just reinstalling windows without deleting personal files, reboot wasn't the right word.

"System Restore". It's fairly effective.

Here is an easy fix:
But before you fix you have to make sure you have this problem: When loading and it says "Building Environment" press "Tab" if you hear a zipper unzip then you know you are on the right path.

Now here is the fix:
First hit your Console Command button (which for me is F1)
Next type: debugmenu
Next Press: "M" on your keyboard
Now: Hold "CTRL" and start right clicking random places on the screen and it will eventually teleport you Out of the "Glitched Area' and should display the screen

NOTE: This is as of Alpha 15

Unfortunately for me, I couldn't hear any sounds when pressing buttons, as if I weren't in the game yet.
And by "Glitched Area" it sounds like you're talking about a problem that only appears in one world, mine appeared in every world.
