I can pick up things like dropped items from the inventory, I can pick up stomes and open doors, BUT I cant open any boxes or crates or loot or camp fires. Any solution yet?
Hopefully as the game gets more future updates this reoccurring problem will eventually be terminated. Latency should not be the issue in our case, as we get 1 ping between the connections.
From what iv seen after watching the problem occur on his end... it seems as if the game suffers a major lag spike during any inventory/container access after 20 or so mins (just a theory), but it seems his connection experiences a de-sync and i guess he gets kicked from my end??? Then either boots to tittle or CTDs.
He is able to play for hours straight (and in theory... forever) if he never opens his inventory or any container. So hopefully someone will find a proper fix for this. if i find a solution ill defo follow up with another post here. He is able to access said menus and containers during the first 20-30 mins or so. after that its a guaranteed crash.
My wife joined my game and she couldn't open any chests or loot. She could drive the car and pick up things I dropped for her.
So, she cleared the zombies while I looted.
Shooting is fine for her. Surely that would be the most noticeable thing if it was a latency issue. She's a twitch sniper in TF2, so she would definitely notice if her shooting was out.
I don't know who SylenThunder is... but I have serious doubts that latency on my end is causing the game to ONLY glitch one aspect.
And... if it IS latency on my end only glitching one aspect... then perhaps that aspect is being handled differently by the client.
Either way... I still think this issue is game related. As a glitch or as how it handles latency (being that other functions are handled fine).
